#WhiteShirt is the latest charity project to be undertaken by John Bentley and fourTwographs, and will run across a 12-18 month time period, beginning on the 22nd of September, and ending with an exhibition of images once the project is completed. Unlike Project22, this project will be undertaken as a sideline to John’s main business. The main idea behind the project is to raise around £12,000 for Bolton based charity Fortalice, an organisation which provides refuge and support services for women and children who have been subjected to domestic abuse in the home. In order to reach this incredible target, John is looking to photograph 222 willing subjects utilising one white shirt, in both indoor and outdoor locations. The shirt can be worn in any manner the subject chooses – back to front, round the head, dressed up, or dressed down – the choice is yours! And of course John will be willing to give handy tips! In order to reach the target, participants will be required to pay a fee of £111, with an initial £15 deposit to secure a place on the project. For this you will receive a one hour photo shoot, the pleasure of John’s company and a 24″ x 16″ signed fine art print, embossed with the studio mark for true authenticity. Around £60 of this fee will be donated to the charity, with the rest being used to cover overheads, production fees and any location fees on shoots outside of the studio. #TeamfourTwographs here to capture memories that last for future generations
